As noted elsewhere, I’m having ongoing trouble with SkyBeam, my ISP. They’re delivering only about 2Mbps instead of the promised 5Mbps. After many long phone calls, they scheduled a service call this afternoon. I had to skip a scheduled luncheon to meet with them. But they never showed! Needless to say, I called them again. We’re now set for Thursday. All I want is what I’m paying for! I talked to billing and told them I wasn’t getting what I’m paying for, so they gave me a whopping $10 credit. Gee, don’t I feel appeased! I can’t wait for these guys to figure out their own network and reestablish the service as it was up until two weeks ago! Do I recommend SkyBeam? Not at the moment!
