This is the view of Owl Creek Pass Road from the Silverjack side. There's still some melting yet to happen!
By stroke of coincidence, I was on the Silverjack side of Owl Creek Pass today. We were visiting the Woodrum’s camp on Middle Fork. I took a quick side trip on the trusty Yamaha XT-250 up as far as I could go up the road to Owl Creek Pass. I encountered the snow shown above. The GPS track below shows my attempt on Wednesday and my attempt today, with about 2.4 miles of road separating the two sides.
