Lesson 6.1 Contact Basics

Here’s your video introduction to the material in Section 6.1 of the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual for Technician. After watching this material, you’ll be better prepared to study Section 6.1. OH MY! I see an embarrassing error! In the scrolling list of Q-signals, I show QST as “my location.” QST is a general call (rarely used) and also the name of the ARRL’s magazine (often used!). QTH is the Q-signal for “my location is.” Once I get done with all the videos, I’ll re-render this one and correct the error.
