Because of the early spring and heavy mid-summer rains, speculation has it that we will have an early fall color season. It does seem a bit early in this video, although over on Last Dollar Road, where I was yesterday, everything’s still pretty green. This video, taken this morning in Ironton Park, south of Ouray, is usually one of the first areas to turn color. See for yourself in this short video:

the very best videos i have ever seen on colo. we have been coming out there every year since 1989. cant get enough. been on motorcycle but this year we bought a jeep to go exploring back roads.
