Of course the big draw is Mt. Sneffels.
The “lesser” mountains in the Sneffels Range nonetheless poke their heads heavenward.
Not Mt. Sneffels, but nicely framed.
If you use your polarizing filter at just the right angle, the sky gets really dark and sets off the golden and orange trees nicely.
What a nice road to drive! We took our Chevvy Blazer. While you don’t absolutely need an SUV for this road, it does get a bit muddy at times.
Uh…the moon? Well, it was part of the view! This is with the zoom fully extended.
I used a Pentax K100D, my “good” digital camera. It’s only 6 megapixels, which is pretty out of date, but it does take nice pictures! I adjusted and cropped the photos using Faststone Image Viewer.
