Colorado Fall Color Along Ouray County Road 5

The fall color along Ouray County Road 5 is a local secret—not the domain of tourists—shame, they’re really missing out! Loretta and I took the trip this morning. I snapped a bunch of pics with my Pentax K100 (yes, raw) and put together this short video to showcase the results. And what’s amazing? Here it is October 14th, and the leaves are still on the trees! All it’ll take is one good windstorm and we’ll be headed into winter. By the way, the video is best if you watch it full screen at 1080p.

The music is from the YouTube audio library, a short piece called “Swamp Stomp” by Silent Partner.
