San Juan Mountains Back Country Trail Maps

There are any number of maps of the high country trails round here. One that is free is “Four Wheeling in the San Juans” and is available from the Ouray Chamber of Commerce, 970-325-4746. The Chamber’s high country map is available here on their site. Another that costs $3 is the “Silverton, CO Backcountry Trail Map” available from Sidekick Off Road in Chino, CA, 909-628-7227. I’ve not seen a back country map that I really like—that’s why I put up my GPS tracks!
