    Tuner on receive is not so important. Can peak the signal a bit, but you can do without for receive only.

    Dave, just viewed Ask Dave Episode 5 on antenna tuner MFJ 901b. Very clear how it works transmitting. But for receiving, not clear how tuner helps. Can you clarify? 73, from Bob KD2NXD extra since 2017 thanks to your extra license videos
