Still recovering from bad episode of gastroinstestinal bleeding. Very anemic at the moment, on oxygen, at home, but trying to walk more than 10 feet leaves me exhausted and completely out of breath. Had 3 units of blood last week. Will try every week to do livestream on Thursday evening, US time, 7pm Mountain standard time. 73, Dave, KEØOG

Dave,
Get well soon. Take it easy and get your strength back.
Take care of yourself, please. Your contribution to the amateur radio community is so important. Your lessons on licensing are priceless (literally).

GOD Bless you. Prayers for healing and comfort.
Sorry to hear about your health conditions. Hope you recover fully. Being sick is no fun at all.
My name is Dave as well. Good name. Phonetically it is Delta Alpha Victor Echo. As you know that is the proper way to spell it. However a fellow ham spells it this way. Diamonds Are Very Expensive. I’ve been a ham for close to 26 years but some times I feel like a newbie. Any time I am trying to do something I go to “Ask Dave” lots and lots of info there. I enjoy your programs and find them very educational. Take care of yourself.

Dear Dave I hope you get well soon thanks for your work, I hope to see you soon on youtube 73 de Antonio ik5hgl
I mean honestly I would rather you work to get better instead of exerting yourself for a livestream. I got into Ham radio because of you, got my general because of you, I would really like to make ham contact with you at some point, so stay strong!
Can I add my best wishes and hope that you have a speedy and full recovery Dave.

I am wishing you and you wife the best.
Being on oxygen is no fun, I know
I now walk about 4 miles a day but not at your elevation.
Get back to you normal soon.
Dave,
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years. I look forward to seeing every new one like seeing an old friend. I felt worried after your expected short videos failed to appear. So glad to see you’re up and about and being open with info regarding your health. You are a prince of a fellow and a fine example of a well mannered gentleman.
I am age 75 and earned my General license only a couple of years ago. I acquired a used Icom 718 and a G5RV dipole and more from a friend. Although I’ve listened to a fair amount of on air conversation on 80, 40, and 20, I was never able to make a CQ contact myself. Recently high winds took down the G5RV, and after reviewing your reference station tapes, ordered a MyAntennas 40-20 OCF dipole. Its not yet put up, but I have high hopes.
Anyway, my best wishes to you.
Dave, you are missed. I hope your recovery is quick and you are back to good health soon.
Jeff/N5ERV
Please get well soon, Dave! Hang in there!

I’m sending you my very best wishes and prayers. Don’t break your neck trying to get back in the saddle too quickly. The world will go on if you have to miss a few episodes. Mind the docs. But I’ll appreciate your information all the more when you are finally back up to speed. Please continue to keep us posted.
I hope you get feeling better Dave, I will keep you in my prayers and would you be okay with a temple prayer list referral? I can understand what you are going through even though I am not dealing with the same situation you are. My father was in bad health before he passed away a couple of years ago so I ma helping take care of my Stepmother and she has a hard time walking any great distance.
Again take care and do not over do it for our sake you need to take care of your self first.
Ill be praying for you Dave. I hope youre doing and feeling better very soon.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Get well soon

Hang in there Dave, we need your expertise. After retiring I started gaining weight and it wasn’t good…diabetes raised its ugly head. Have you considered losing some weight? I stopped eating sugar and carbs, plus moderate exercise and the weight started coming off……slowly, but my health began improving and now I’m out of the red zone for diabetes, heart issues and high blood pressure. At 71, I can’t figure out how to reverse aging however…….HI HI
Stay safe, 73
