Ham Radio Technician Lesson 5.5, RF Grounding

Part of putting a good station together is a good grounding system. It saves lots of trouble, helps protect your equipment, helps keep RF out of places it shouldn’t be (like in your computer system), and in general keeps RF out of the “shack” (your operating location). Watch this short video introducing RF grounding, including a look at my station ground and some lightning protection.
